Kirsten Fereday has over 14 years of experience in international marketing and business management of cutting-edge technology businesses. Working in the quickly evolving wireless telecoms market throughout the nineties in positions from Product Manager to General Manager, she did business in over twenty countries on five continents turning client requirements and wishes into reality. Overcoming cultural and language barriers to understand technological requirements was a combination of art and science, and always a challenge. As General Manager she had P&L responsibility for a division within a technology company.
In her consulting business she broadened her experience into many other industries focusing on how to match the clients’ expressed needs with developing technology. She also worked on developing best practice policies, procedures and systems to support scalability and sustainability. All of her experience involves software based products, addressing a wide variety of value added applications. Her expertise touches all functional areas of today’s internet based businesses.
Fereday earned her MBA from Pepperdine University in 2003, rounding out her practical experience with strategic business knowledge.
“Working at liveBooks is exciting for me, as it allows me to work at the intersection of art and technology, combining my strategic and practical knowledge to further enhance our products’ effectiveness and our clients’ experience.”
