The Company's President / CEO, has an extensive background in the Internet, photography and advertising communication industries. He guides overall direction while creating and implementing systems to support liveBooks growth model.

An entrepreneur since 11, when he created the first version of a Peapod-like home grocery delivery business, Andy has started and successfully developed many businesses. Previously, he guided Adjacency Brand New Media, a leading strategic web consultancy for award-winning e-business deployments for companies such as Apple Computer, Patagonia, Virgin Megastores, Land Rover, Esprit and Nordstrom, from start-up through a highly successful acquisition by Sapient in early 1999. He has been an advisor and angel investor to multiple companies, and in 2000, he was named one of the top fifty people in design by Metropolis Magazine. For the past ten years he has been actively involved in the development of social cause organizations striving to make a positive impact on the human condition. In 2001 Andy founded FiftyCrows Foundation which works to support documentary photographers worldwide through grants, career mentoring, exhibitions, short films about photographers and their documentary essays and an active website. He is also a Founding Advisory Board member for National Geographics' All Roads Photography Awards which aims to support local photographers documenting their own culture. He is a founding Board Member of Healing the Divide, a non-profit which brings cultural, social, and economic benefits to traditional communities in Tibet, Mongolia, Russia, India, Nepal, and Bhutan. He was the Founder and Executive Director of the Mad Housers of Chicago which built small living units for homeless individuals, and was a founding Board member of the highly successful magazine StreetWise, which has sold over $10 million in copies by homeless individuals, 75% of which goes directly to the seller.

He likes to find time to sculpt stone, walk among the redwoods and learn how to use his new 5D.
