Position Overview:
We are looking for a passionate, experienced, creative and innovative individual who will help to design and develop our company’s web applications. Our clients are talented and creative individuals who are moved by solutions that combine inspiring design with powerful functionality and ease of use.
You will design and build elegant and effective web applications that deliver marketing, purchase and support assistance to current and prospective clients. You will be part of a fun and talented team that includes product managers, UI designers developers and QA.
Responsibilities:
- Work with product, support and marketing teams to understand requirements and define compelling solutions to client needs
- Collaborate with UI designer to create highly usable interface designs
- Build mock-ups and prototypes to be used for discussion and review
- Work with engineering and network operations to developer server-side components and deployment plans
- Provide accurate time estimates on all projects
- Stay up to date on design trends and technology and apply best practices to project
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent and 3-5 years of development experience
- Demonstrated excellence developing in MySQL, PHP, HTML, CSS
- Proficiency in latest versions of Flash/Flex (design side), Photoshop, Illustrator
- Solid understanding of how software is experienced in both the Mac and Windows environments
- Strong attention to detail and time management
- Demonstrated success in a team environment
- Ability to communicate effectively in real time and offline verbal and written media
