Position Overview:
The Solutions Product Manager for liveBooks will be responsible for driving requirements development and specification for the successful integration of liveBooks products with third-party solutions as well as across liveBooks product lines. This will include the development of market requirements documents which gather the opinions of a diverse group of people including, sales, marketing, and our customers as to the specific needs required for future versions of liveBooks products. Additionally, the product manager will have responsibility for the completion of product specs to be delivered to engineering and will oversea interactions with the engineering team in creation of technical specifications, user experience and user interface design. This process will take place as a part of an overall PLC process in which the product manager owns ultimate responsibility for whether the product maps to agreed upon objectives including meeting requirements set out in MRD as well as quality and timeliness of the release. The solutions product manager will additionally be responsible for leading integration implementation including the development of a complete implementation plan covering all aspects of the project spanning, sales, marketing, operations, billing and support along with the management of a published timeline for completion. The solutions product manager will be responsible for soliciting input on all mentioned documents and gaining buy-in from management on the priorities and direction of the product. The product manager will work closely with marketing on the development of all positioning and messaging for products as well as recommended go-to-market strategies.
