Born and raised in Los Angeles, Donald Miralles's first passion was in the water as an All-American swimmer and water polo player. While completing his B.A. in fine arts at UCLA, he assisted portrait and architectural photographers in the L.A. area. After graduating and landing a job as Picture Editor for Allsport Photography, Donald was promoted to a Staff Photographer with Getty Images. Over the last decade, he has covered nearly every sporting event world-wide, including five Winter and Summer Olympic Games, four Super Bowls, The World Series and more.
