Altaf Qadri is a photojournalist, who for years has been covering the conflict in his native home of Kashmir. His goal with his images is to make people aware of the grass roots situation there and tell stories of how the lives of the people living there are effected. His photographs have appeared all over the globe, including Time, The Guardian, New York Times, International Herald Tribune and Washington Post among others. Altaf was also a winner of last year's prestigious National Geographic All Roads Photo Competition.
