In today's competitive wedding photography market, Ann Hamilton sets herself apart by incorporating dog portraits into her business, creating a niche where parents drool over cool, classic images of their fur babies while winning her clients' hearts. Ann will share her approach to working with her canine counterparts, and what it takes to build a successful portrait studio.
About Ann
Ann Hamilton is a San Francisco photographer specializing in weddings and dog portraits. Ann combines her love of photography with a journalistic sensability and artistic flair. Her work has appeared in numerous magazines such as Rangefinder, 7x7, Grace Ormonde Wedding Style, Destination Weddings & Honeymoons, The Knot, and several books by Amherst Media, including "The Best of Digital Wedding Photography." Next to weddings, Ann loves photographing dogs. She adores the canine spirit and the joy that is expressed at the most simple of things. Her passion for photographing dogs has afforded her opportunities to share her work with other photographers. This past February, Ann gave a platform presentation at the 2009 WPPI Convention in Las Vegas where she spoke on the subject of dog portraits. Ann has realized her dream of running a successful photography business and having her pug, Bogie, sit beside her while at work. To view Ann's work visit: www.annhamilton.com
